Most Wanted – Alice + Olivia Gizelle Mary Jane Pumps

Posted by Sophie on August 31, 2011

Fell in love with these Alice + Olivia Gizelle glittery leather mary jane bow pumps from Saks.  The uniqueness of this shoe has me ready to splurge.  The chunky heel, all-over sparkle, and beaded bow make the pump so adorable.  From the Alice + Olivia FW 2011 collection.

Envy Miu Miu no more!  As a platform addict, I find these Carvela Angelica Platform Mary Janes one of the most versatile, ever-so-chic, and timeless heels to own.  A perfect statement shoe without all the fuss.  Such a striking yet elegant pair, they will anchor the entire outfit, make you stand tall & feel confident.  Work it with jeans, a pencil skirt, shorts & tights… the sky is the limit!

Emma Roberts dressed in a black Marni dress and platform heels at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on May 3rd, 2010.  I never get tired of such chic black heels… impossible!

Here are three fab options with budget in mind, each pair under $100.  These black mary-jane style heels look great with practically anything from skinny jeans to evening dresses.

Pura Lopez on Sale

Posted by jenny11 on May 4, 2010

I’m always on the lookout for bargains on shoes as you know.  Of course not all bargains are created equal, and what I mean by that is that some bargains are truly hard to pass up. The number one thing I look at when determining whether or not the offer is an absolute shoe bargain is the quality of the brand!

Then if I like the brand I will take into account the discount next. Don’t get me wrong, if something is $20 and normally retails for $60 I will definitely consider buying it provided I know the brand isn’t trash and the shoe won’t fall apart after a few months.

Right now you can scoop up a pair of Pura Lopez pumps for only $164! That’s right, these Mary Jane’s normally retail for $410 and so gorgeous with that retro-chic appeal.  Lavendar, pink and silver really blend well together.

Last year I got a pair of Pura Lopez sandals from Ebay and I was really impressed with the quality and the design. After that experience I wouldn’t hesitate one bit to buy the brand again as I am so confident in the durability and craftsmanship in the brand.
