Fall is kicking into high gear right now with falling leaves and cooler temps. Of course that means sandals and flip flops are being kicked to the curb…finally! I love summer but after awhile I get sick of seeing everyone wearing sandals and flops, ya know its’ pretty sloppy overall.

So, the autumn season means cozy and stylish boots. For me, riding rain boots are at the top of my list when it comes to style and function. I really love these Burberry patent leather riding boots but needless to say they are outside of my budget at $750.

Why not get the look for less! I have found a new pair that I am simply dying to get and actually I’m thinking really hard about buying these lovelies. Take a peek at the La Canadienne Parma, in either leather patent or suede these riding rain boots are simply mesmerizing for just $260.

Bebe’s Kendra platform boots have a chic 70′s vibe in a shiny patent. Another thing to like about patent leather is easy maintenance… just wipe clean!

Red is almost gone (only 2 sizes left as of now) but I prefer these in black. I just hope that the calf area is not too loose on my skinny calves.

Work Shoes Don’t Have to be Boring

Work shoes have to be comfortable to me, and of course stylish at the same time. It doesn’t matter how comfy the shoes are because I will not touch them if they are hideous. My kicks must be fashionable.

I prefer chunky heels when it comes to walking as I’m on my feet a lot. Ultimately you should go with something extra whether it’s a bold color or texture, all the little details count.

If you have to wear a certain type of wardrobe at work you can always add some pop & spice by going bold and sassy with your shoes. Just because your outfit is a bit more on the conservative side doesn’t mean that your heels have to be!
