Look for less – Marni platform sandals

Posted by Sophie on Monday, April 5th, 2010

Alexa Chung is dressed in designer labels from head to toe including Marni platform sandals.  Chunky sandals like these look awesome with tights especially black tights by elongating your legs.  Get the look for less with these Jeffrey Campbell Cork Heels.  The lace detail on the ankle strap is super adorable and now is the perfect time to indulge in comfy cork heels!

Those who have been following my shoe posts you know how much I praise Jeffrey Campbell shoes. Full of insatiably chic shoes making my shoe appetite go through the roof!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Patent-leather cutout sandals (sold out!)

My color radar heightens this time of the year.  Attracted to happy colors – yellow, teal, blue, orange, turquoise, etc.  Unfortunately, the above delicious Marc Jacobs blue wedges sold out but I managed to find the perfect blue pair, Wood Wedges ($175) that will be your sundresses BFF this spring & summer.  Don’t you just love the color?  It reminds me of the ocean.

Take me away!

Wow, I have a bad case of spring fever right now… the amazing temps in the 70′s lure me out of my office to go out and soak in the sun, enjoy nature.  Really, who doesn’t like spring?  I’m also loving the day light savings which makes the day seem so much longer.

When I think of spring/summer shoes from strolling in a cafe to a perfect beach getaway, the first thing that sticks out in my mind is a pair of crochet sandals.  These luxe See by Chloe Crochet Sandals scream spring with the crisp beige & white crochet, chunky heel, and the rope tie that wraps around the ankle.  To further my day dreaming, wouldn’t it be wonderful to stroll on the streets of Paris in these sandals… you feel me?  Available at Zappos for $324 or Net-A-Porter for $320.
